| The Lincoln College Men’s Basketball team 
				finished up their 2019 home schedule in style on Saturday with a 
				100-77 win over Lindenwood-Belleville University. 
 LC got on the board first in this contest on a three-pointer by 
				senior guard Lejavius Johnson (Glenwood) just 17 seconds into 
				the game. The Lynx would hold a comfortable lead the rest of the 
				way, nearly doubling LBU’s point total in the first half (66-32) 
				then cruising through the second half for a 23-point victory.
 
 Five players reached double-digits point totals for Lincoln. 
				Leading the way was senior guard Trayvon Tyler (Rockford) who 
				had 25 points. Sophomore guard Darnell Latham Jr. (Chicago) also 
				eclipsed the 20-point mark by scoring 22. Baytown, Texas native 
				Julian Powell was good for 15 points and a team-high 13 
				rebounds, while Lejavius Johnson and sophomore forward Tyrone 
				Wright (St. Louis) each recorded 10 points.
 
 The win was Lincoln’s sixth in-a-row and improved the team’s 
				record to 20-7 overall and establishes a final home court record 
				of 9-3 for the season. LC’s last three games of the season will 
				be on the road with the next game scheduled for January 11th at 
				St. Ambrose University at 7:30 PM.
