Robert D. “Bob” Tubbs, 91, of Lincoln
passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at
Heritage Health, Springfield.
Robert was born on February 24, 1927 in Milford, NY
the son of Ford Harrison and Hazel (Weeks) Tubbs. He
married Jean Monroe on December 18, 1948 in
Plattsburg, NY. She preceded him in death on April
25, 2016.
Robert is survived by his three sons, Richard (Shari
Piekarski) Tubbs of Coralville IA, Mark (Aren
Ginsberg) Tubbs of St. Louis MO, William (Jennifer
Johnson) Tubbs of Springfield, Sister in Law Dorothy
Wind of Englewood FL, one granddaughter Audrey Ling
Tubbs of Springfield, four nieces and one nephew. He
was preceded in death by his parents and one
brother; Edward.

Robert was a member of United
Methodist Church, Elks Club, and The American Legion
Post# 263. He loved maps and was a lifetime St.
Louis Cardinal fan.
A private family graveside service will be held.
Memorials may be made to Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital or Memorial Home Hospice.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
