Lincoln Junior High School Trojan Wrestlers have two good nights
Community invited to attend "pack the house" at LJHS tonight

Lincoln Junior High Trojans wrestling team was back in action Monday night defeating host Prairie Central 50-39 and Heyworth 58-33 to move to 13-9 on the season.

Finishing the night with a 2-0 record were 90lb Jacob Lawrence, 95lb Noah Johnson, 105lb Colbie Glenn, 112lb Isaac Decker, 145lb Wyatt Mammen, 215lb Ashton Koontz and HWT Ryan O’Donoghue.

Finishing the night with a 1-1 record was 75lb Miley Sampson, 80lb Logan Baker, 100lb Grant Laubenstein, 126lb Dawson McConnell, 155lb Tristan Barger, and 185lb Niccolas Sundeen .

On Tuesday evening the Trojans traveled to Petersburg Porta and defeated the host 54-42 to move to 14-9 on the season.

Winners for the Trojans were 75lb Miley Sampson, 90lb Jacob Lawrence, 105lb Colbie Glenn, 112lb Isaac Decker, 126lb Dawson McConnell, 135lb Bailey Follis, 145lb Wyatt Mammen, 185lb Nicccolas Sundeen, and 215lb Ashton Koontz.

Next up for the Trojans is 8th Graders recognition Wednesday (2/13) night at LJHS.

It’s also pack the gym night with the Trojans facing Taylorville Junior High and the Lincoln Youth Wrestling facing the Taylorville youth team.

Please come out and support both programs tomorrow night. Wrestling gets started at 5pm.
