away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Concordia Village, Springfield.

Obituary
Donna B. Conklen, 96, formerly of
Sherman, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at
Concordia Village, Springfield.
Donna was born on March 3, 1922 in Hartsburg, the
daughter of Fred and Emma (Struebing) Cross. She
married George William Conklen on September 7, 1941
in Emden. He preceded her in death on January 29,
2013.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Mona B. Bentley
of Sherman, Noel Donna (Wayne) Hoffman of
Springfield; two grandchildren, Greta (Tim) Huseman
and Seth (Madeleine) Hoffman; four
great-grandchildren, Henrik and Emma Huseman and
Otto and Harlow Hoffman. She was preceded in death
by her parents, one sister Eileen Kohl, and
son-in-law Clarence Bentley. |
Graveside services for Donna will be
2:00 p.m. Monday February 4, 2019 at Hartsburg Union
Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Wayne P. Hoffman officiating.
Memorials may be made in Donna’s name to Good
Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman or Concordia
Village in Springfield.
Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
