							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski. Visitation will take place from 
							4:00-7:00p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 also at 
							the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at 
							Mount Pulaski Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.

							Phyllis Meister, 86, of Mount Pulaski 
							passed away at 2:43 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 
							at Country Lane Memory Care Assisted Living in 
							Riverton. 
 Phyllis was born on January 20, 1933 in Clinton the 
							daughter of Harold and Nellie (Taylor) Wilson. She 
							married G. Loren Meister on April 18, 1956 in 
							Colorado. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2010.
 
 Surviving are three sons, David (Angela) Meister of 
							Mount Pulaski, Gary (Jeryn) Meister of Savage MN, 
							and Jeff Meister of Mount Pulaski; one sister Karen 
							(Ron) Steward of Clinton, seven grandchildren, four 
							step grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
 
 Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, 
							husband, and her sister, Joyce Adam.
 
 Phyllis was a member of Mount Pulaski United 
							Methodist Church serving on various committees; a 
							member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #447- past 
							president and various committee leader, Mount 
							Pulaski Historical Society, and Decatur Memorial 
							Hospital Alumni Assoc. Bridge club member for 41 
							years.

							She also served on the Mount Pulaski 
							Community Unit District #23 Board of Education from 
							April 1979 to November 1985 and served as board 
							secretary from November 1983 to November 1985. She 
							worked as an RN for Decatur Memorial Hospital, St. 
							Mary’s Hospital, and in the office of J.B Borgerson 
							MD for many years. 
							 
							She was also a breast cancer survivor 
							since 1989. She was a devoted wife, mother, 
							grandmother, and friend; she will be deeply missed 
							by all. May God be with you in all your days.
 Services for Phyllis will be held at 10:00 a.m. on 
							Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount 
							Pulaski. Visitation will take place from 
							4:00-7:00p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 also at 
							the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at 
							Mount Pulaski Cemetery, Mount Pulaski.
 
 Memorial donations may be made in Phyllis’ name to 
							The First United Methodist Church of Mount Pulaski
