			 [February 14, 2019]
This Saturday, February 16 from 9am-1pm the Logan County Department
of Public Health, Lincoln Park District, and Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital invite the public to the free Wellness Expo in the
field house at the Lincoln Park District. In 2018, over 650 attended
			this popular event.
A wide variety of activities will be available for the community
providing much needed entertainment and a reason to get out of the
house during this cold winter weather.

Parents will be happy to let the kids run off some steam at the
inflatable obstacle course and bouncy house available for free to
kids of all ages. The Expo also offers a children’s cooking activity
at 10:30am and 11:30am. The activity is being provided by students
of the Lincoln Community High School culinary arts program.

Adults will also have an opportunity to learn a quick and easy
recipe from Heather Cosby, owner of Flossie’s and Delzena’s Gourmet
Grind & Gifts. Demonstrations will be held at 10am, 11am and 12pm.

Over 70 vendors will be providing information about their services.
An “Expo Trivia” activity will encourage guests to visit several
booths and once completed, the trivia sheet will enter them to win
door prizes which will be drawn at 12:45pm.
