							Waneta Febus Milner Stephens, 97, 
							passed away at 9:10 a.m. on Thursday February 7, 
							2019 at Vonderlieth Living Center.
 Waneta was born on January 27, 1922 in Lake Fork, 
							daughter of Clyde and Mary (Bryson) Febus. She 
							married Harry Milner on November 4, 1938. He 
							preceded her in death on March 13, 1970. She then 
							married Thomas Stephens on July 15, 1989. He 
							preceded her in death on September 2, 2018.
 
 Waneta is survived by her children: Harry Wayne 
							(Valera) Milner of Sherman and Lisa Brown of Mount 
							Pulaski; grandchildren: Karla Newton of 
							Edwardsville, Patrick (Vicki) Newton of Wentzville 
							MO, Tim (Julie) Milner, Kara (Jeremy) Davis of Mount 
							Pulaski and Clayton (Alicia) Brown of Mount Pulaski; 
							step children: Jeff, Ben, and Kathy Stephens, one 
							niece Cynthia Hill of Elgin, fifteen 
							great-grandchildren and eight great-great 
							grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
							parents, her brother Wayne Febus, sister-in-law: 
							Jeanne Febus, and son-in-law Bob Brown.

							Waneta was a waitress at Bertoni’s 
							Restaurant for 35 years. She was a founding member 
							of the Mount Pulaski Historical Society and Museum, 
							Mount Pulaski Christian Church since 1934, wrote two 
							genealogy books, was a member of VFW #777 Auxiliary, 
							volunteered at the Mount Pulaski Courthouse, and was 
							the Secretary of Zoning Board of Appeals since its 
							conception in February of 1975.
 Services for Waneta will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday 
							February 19, 2019 at Mount Pulaski Christian Church 
							with Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be one 
							hour prior to service. Burial at Mount Pulaski 
							Cemetery will follow the service.
 
 Memorials may be made in Waneta’s name to Mount 
							Pulaski Christian Church, Humane Society of Logan 
							County, or Mount Pulaski Historical Society.
 
 Services have been entrusted to 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, Mount Pulaski.
