Heyworth edges Hartsburg-Emden 55-51

The Heyworth Hornets hosted Hartem Friday night and took the 55-51 win from the Stags. The two teams were tied 24-24 at the half and the Stags even managed a 33-31 lead at the end of three quarters of play. The Hornets pulled away in the fourth quarter and earned the 55-51 win. 

Wyatt Hopkins led the Stags with 19 points. Josh Wright hit double-figures with 16 points for Hartem.

The Stags begin regionals next week.
