“You Know Her” by Mitch Douglas. Attractive model, no doubt, but is she just another anonymous model or someone you know. Need a hint? She might be an icon of DIY, a former prison inmate, television personality, and successful businesswoman. Stop by the Lincoln Art Institute and find out.

“Electrostatic Genesis Recorded in the Frances Nebula” by Lane Grimaldi. Is this a digital photo from the ends of the galaxy or a more mundane photo of a flower in your backyard? What is the reality?

“Gemmy Shoes” by Pam Moriearty… what makes an ordinary object extraordinarily expensive? If these shoes were Jimmy Chu they would be sell for $765, but without the star name, what would the same object be worth?

“Once in a Blue Moon” by Gideon Mead. Gideon set out to photograph a cool cloud and sun formation when an unexplained blue object photo bombed his project. He has no explanation for it.

Gideon Mead is a junior at LCHS. This was his first show at LAI. His photos created a stir at the art opening, attracting several buyers.

“Yeti” by Bev Noble. Mysterious creature or unusual formation on a tree?

“Surrendering into Stillness” by Laura Elliott

First time exhibitor Laura Elliott recently moved back to Lincoln from a long journey over the decades. This is her work “The Fire Within.”

Springfield artist Jeff Williams and his painting of a concert “Looming at the Black Sheep.” Or is it a photograph? Come into LAI and check and find out “Is It Real.”

A large crowd explores the walls and corners of the Lincoln Art Institute.
