The Lincoln Junior High Trojans Wrestling team
is sending 11 sectional qualifiers and has 3 alternates for next
weekend sectional tournament being held at Litchfield High
School on Saturday, March 2, with wrestling starting at 9am.
The Trojans finished in third place as a team with 202 points,
with Clinton being the regional champs with 225 points.
Advancing for the Trojans as regional champs were:
90lb Jacob Lawrence,
105lb Colbie Glenn,
112lb Isaac Decker
185lb Niccolas Sundeen.
Second place winners were
75lb Miley Sampson,
126lb Dawson McConnell,
145lb Wyatt Mammen,
167lb Tristan Barger
215lb Ashton Koontz.
Third place winners were 95lb Noah Johnson and HWT Ryan
ODonoghue.
Fourth place alternates were 80lb Logan Baker, 95lb Kade Huskins
and 100lb Grant Laubenstein.
The coaches were very proud of the kids’ performance and are
looking forward to sectionals.
