an earlier season loss to USF at their gym. Guards Trayvon Tyler
(Rockford) and Lejavius Johnson (Glenwood) each scored 19 points in
the game. Darnell Latham Jr. (Chicago) and J.J. Turner (Chicago)
also reached double-digits in scoring with Latham contributing 19
points and Turner was good for 11.
Lincoln then hit the road on New Year’s Day to take on Governor’s
State University in Chicago. The Lynx held a four-point lead at the
half, up 44-40 and were able to hold off GSU in the second half to
earn a 90-84 win.
