City of Lincoln will pick up
discarded Christmas trees on January 14th

LINCOLN
The Lincoln Street Department will begin picking up Christmas trees
on Monday January 14, 2019. Trees should be placed at the curb no
later than 7:00 a.m. that morning.
Crews will start collection at 7:00 a.m. and run continually until
they have completed a pass through the city. They will not return to
an area after a pass has been made to pick up any trees that were
not out.
Trees should be placed at the curb and removed from bags.

Trees should also be free from all decorating material and stands. Any trees not
meeting these requirements will not be picked up.
Citizens may also dispose of their trees at the Landscape waste facility located
at 957 Broadwell Drive on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
