Lincoln Youth Wrestling Results from the JAWS Battle in the Bowl youth wrestling tournament

Lincoln Youth Wrestling Traveled to Jacksonville Sunday January 6, 2019 to compete in the Jacksonville Area Wrestling’s, JAWS Battle in the Bowl tournament

Tot Division (Ages 5&under)
Logan Fish and Asher Morris placed 1st.

Bantam Division (Ages 6&7)
Garrett Durbin, Brodie Glenn, Gabriel Cummings and Zachary Carlile all placed 1st.
Ryley Correll and Kyrell Kelly placed 2nd.
Logan White and Spencer Allison were 4th.

Intermediate Division (Ages 8&9)
Seth Durbin and Dominick Cummings placed 1st
Realeigh Alexander took 4th.

Novice Division (Ages 10&11)
TJ Morris placed 1st Ryne Metelko 2nd,
Cameron Bell 3rd
Levi Allison and Spencer Bean 4th.

Senior Division (ages 12, 13 &14)
Isaac Decker placed 1st.

Lincoln Youth Wrestling had four sets of brothers that were champions and two other champions also. LYW placed 4th in the team competition with a total of 77.5 points while the Urbana Tigers Youth Wrestling Club won the event with 96.5, Rochester was second with 85.5 and the host was third with 84.5.

The team will be headed to Springfield next Saturday to compete in the Meet in The Middle tournament hosted by Rochester Youth wrestling.
