Mount Pulaski led at the end
of the first quarter 16-12 and kept the pace up at the half
with a 28-24 lead.
The Bulldogs charged back to
tie the game 44-44 at the end of the third quarter. But
Mount Pulaski prevailed as Skylar Hayes sunk eight free
throws late in the
game and the Lady Toppers came out on top 58-54.
Hayes led Mount Pulaski with
19 points. The Lady Toppers also placed three other players
in double-figures: Isabella Wade (14), Savanah Moore (12)
and Morgan May (12).
