Atlanta United signed goalkeeper
Brendan Moore to a contract, the MLS champions announced Wednesday.
Moore, 26, made 10 appearances this season for Rochdale in England.
He also has played in 58 overseas matches for Torquay United during
his career.
"Brendan is a talented young goalkeeper with a bright future and
we're pleased to have added him to our roster," Atlanta vice
president and technical director Carlos Bocanegra said in a
statement. "He's a local product with valuable professional
experience in England and he'll add quality to overall group of
goalkeepers."

Moore attended high school in Roswell, Ga., and he played college
soccer for North Carolina.
