Daisy Vecchia named December LTEC Student of the Month

 

[January 11, 2019]    Daisy Vecchia daughter of Brianne Vecchia, was named Student of the Month for the Cosmetology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Daisy is a junior at Lincoln Community High School.

Ms. Tiffany Vincent, instructor, selected Daisy for being a team player and having a wonderful attitude. Ms. Vincent says that Daisy is considerate and is always willing to help. Daisy has wonderful leadership qualities and has been a good role model in the classroom. She has a positive attitude, always shows respect, and is responsible. Daisy’s excels in the classroom, follows directions and is always open and eager to learn new skills. She participates in class, works hard, and has great attendance. She is a pleasure to have in class.

Daisy coaches basketball at the YMCA for ages K-1st grade. She also works at the Blue Dog Inn.

Daisy plans to attend Cosmetology School to obtain her license and start her career in cosmetology.

Daisy received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and was honored at the noon luncheon.
