Community Action seeks sponsors for annual Cheeseburger in Paradise

[January 12, 2019]  Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois (CAPCIL) hosts Cheeseburger in Paradise fundraiser on April 27th, 2019 at the Lincoln Banquet Center from 6-10:30.

Cheeseburger in Paradise is the social event of the year and Community Action’s biggest fundraiser, generating close to $30,000 in 2017 for the agency. Guests enjoy all you can eat cheeseburgers, yummy chicken wings, and delicious drink specials all while listening to live music provided by J Christopher “The World’s Most Dangerous One Man Band”. Cheeseburger in Paradise is a packed event and sells out every year with close to 400 people in attendance. The event also boasts a live auction, silent auction, Big Kahuna raffle, and 50/50.


Table sponsorships are available for purchase now on CAPCIL’s website or by visiting the agency at 1800 5th Street in Lincoln.

  • The Big Cheese: Platinum level sponsorship, Listed on all marketing materials, Up to 16 entry tickets, First to go through food line, Gift basket including four complimentary commemorative solo cups

  • The King Parrot: Gold level sponsorship, Up to 16 entry tickets, Second to go through food line, Gift basket including two complimentary commemorative solo cups

  • The Greater Flamingo: Silver level sponsorship, eight entry tickets, Third to go through food line, four complimentary Big Kahuna raffle tickets

  • The Cloud Nine: Bronze level sponsorship, eight entry tickets

  • Individual Ticket: Individual Entry, Limited amounts available

Auction items are also currently being accepted for the 2019 fundraiser. All donors are publicly thanked on screen at the event and is great exposure for donors’ products and services.

This event goes to support the poverty-fighting initiatives provided by Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois who serves over 4,000 families every year.
