Bruce Norman Porter, 67, of
Lincoln, passed away December 29, 2018 at his
residence.
Cremation rites have been accorded
by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Burial will take place Tuesday,
January 15, 2018 at 10a.m. at Abraham Lincoln
National Cemetery, Elwood.
Bruce was born September 28, 1951 in Chicago, the
son of Norman and Dolores (King) Porter. He proudly
served his country in the United States Army for 28
years. He was a quiet man. He loved his cats and was
an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. |
Surviving are his mother, daughter Renee (Shane) Allen; sisters
Susan Kruspe, Norma Giese, and Jacqueline Raday, and brother Michael Porter.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister Lee Porter.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Logan County.
