							Obituary

							Dean Collier, 76, died at 2:20 a.m.,
Friday, January 18th. He was born December 16, 1942,
the son of Harold and Lois (Bruce) Collier. He grew
up in the Elkhart/Mount Pulaski area, graduating
from Mount Pulaski High School in 1961.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963-1967, and
married Susan Hawk on December 20, 1969. Dean and
Suzy loved to travel. The duo made a 5,300 mile
motorcycle trip across Canada, and they recently
enjoyed a 2-week cruise to Alaska.

Dean had a passion for tractors and trains and
things with motors, but most of all, he loved
spending time with Suzy and their furry friends at
"the little house in the big woods" in rural
							Illiopolis.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; brothers Harold
(wife, Sandy) of Battle Creek MI, Ron Collier (wife,
Pauline) of Fallmouth KY, Larry (wife, Linda) and
Jerry (wife, Lee Ellen aka Bubbles) both of Mount
Pulaski; several nieces and nephews as well as
great- and great-great nieces and nephews, and more
							friends than anyone can count.
