Over the weekend, the
2018 Miss Logan County Fair Queen Molly Schempp represented Logan
County nicely at the 60th Annual Miss Illinois County Fair Queen
Pageant. The pageant and the 2019 Illinois Association of
Agricultural Fairs Convention was held at the Crowne Plaza in
Springfield.
During the four day period, Molly participated in several rehearsals
as well as the competition. She also had the opportunity to take a
walk through the convention.
"Her hard work and determination through these last five months was
truly shown on stage," said Logan County Fair Queen coordinator
Bethany Rademaker. "We can't wait to see what the rest of the year
has in store."
Rademaker added, " Thank you Logan County for your never ending
support! And, congratulations to Alexi Bladel from Winnebago County
who was selected as the 2019 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen."
Molly competed against 70 other County Fair Queens, and we are
confident that she made a sizable impression at the convention as
well as the contest.
