Lincoln Youth Wrestling compete at Mt. Zion Kids Club Open

Lincoln Youth Wrestling Traveled to Mt. Zion Sunday January 27, 2019 to compete in the Mt. Zion Kids Club Open wrestling tournament

Tot Division (Ages 5&under)
Asher Morris and Greyson Fisher placed 3rd.
Logan Fish took 4th.

Bantam Division (Ages 6&7)
Zachary Carlile and Logan White placed 1st,
Liam Brandt was 2nd,
Kyrell Kelly, Gabriel Cummings, Paxton Lora and Garrett Durbin all placed 3rd.

Intermediate Division (Ages 8&9)
Dominick Cummings placed 3rd,
Seth Durbin and Realeigh Alexander took 4th.

Novice Division (Ages 10&11)
Cameron Bell placed 1st,
Zachary Ekhardt and TJ Morris took 3rd
Spencer Bean 4th.

Senior Division (ages 12, 13 &14)
Isaac Decker placed 2nd.

LYW placed tenth out of 30 with 182 points while Monticello Youth Wrestling won the event with 311 points, Mt. Zion second with 303, Mattoon finished in third with 284 points

Two other Lincoln Youth Wrestlers were in action Sunday at other tournaments.
 

Brodie Glenn placed 3rd at the Quincy Cyclones tournament Quincy.

Ryley Correll placed 2nd at Custer-Stoudt Open in Pekin.

The team will be headed to Chatham next Sunday to compete in the Tyler Cox Memorial kids Tournament.
