The WLB Lady Wolverines won
the Mount Pulaski Eighth Grade Volleyball Tournament on
Saturday, January 26, 2019. This is the first time the Lady
Wolverines have won the very competitive 12-team
tournament which featured the defending 7-1A, 7-2A and 7-3A
state champions.
WLB won by defeating
Williamsville 25-13 and 25-12. The Lady Wolverines beat
Lewistown Central 25-12 and 25-16.
The ladies also took down
the hosts, Mount Pulaski 25-23, 17-25 and 17-15.
In the championship match
WLB beat Pleasant Plains 25-22 and 25-23. This WLB squad
features two eighth graders and the rest are seventh
graders.
