On Sunday, June 16th,
Trinity Episcopal Church, Lincoln celebrated its Feast Day on
Trinity Sunday by sharing a fried chicken lunch together and
awarding donations to several local and international non-profits.
Representative from Moms Who Care, the Lincoln Pregnancy Resource
Center, and Lincoln Pastoral Counseling Services were present to
accept checks from Trinity and partake in fellowship.
Trinity also donated funds through the Diocese of Springfield to its
Companion Dioceses in Peru and Tabora for their missionary efforts.
Trinity Sunday is the day within the Church Calendar that Christians
celebrate the beauty and love of God as revealed in the three
persons of the Trinity; Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
