After touring the shelter, Will, and his father, Morris Trent, determined that the laundry room needed more efficient storage. Will designed plans for a new cabinet unit, presented the plans to the board who happily approved, and he started building.

This past Friday, Will and his father delivered and installed a beautiful cabinet in the HSLC laundry room. The cabinet features plenty of drawers for storage and organization complete with a large countertop for folding and workspace. The new addition to our laundry room has received much praise from our volunteers.

Achieving Eagle Scout is a serious and tedious process. Now that Will has completed his project, he has a mound of paper work to do to document the process. He will have his written account examined and will also go before a review board that will speak with him on a variety of topics pertaining to the Eagle Scout designation.

Will’s thoughtfulness and skill is, and will continue to be appreciated by HSLC for years to come, and we wish him all the best as he continues his work toward his Eagle Scout status.
