Jessie Clark of Lincoln, has been named the June 2019 Colleague of
the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Clark is
a registered nurse in the emergency department and has worked at
ALMH for 6 years.
Clark began in the acute care unit at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital. After cross-training in the emergency department she found
her passion and has been there for 5 years. Clark also works in the
special procedures area and as a cardiac nurse in the
cardiopulmonary department.
“I am proud to work at a hospital that is always striving to create
a better patient experience,” said Clark. “I also love working at
ALMH because of my colleagues. They provide a supportive and fun
work environment.”
Clark has a variety of certifications including Emergency
Communications Registered Nurse (ECRN), Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma
Nursing Core Course (TNNC), and Cardiac-Vascular Nursing
Certification (CVNC-BC).

Clark was nominated by a co-worker for the honor who wrote the following:
"Jessie is always attentive and caring towards her patients. She makes sure that
her patients have everything they need to be cared for safely and effectively.
If a patient ever needs anything, Jessie is always the first to acknowledge
them. I have never seen Jessie have a negative attitude towards patients or
employees. Jessie always has a smile on her face and greets everyone with
enthusiasm."
