Naomi Wands, a registered nurse and community cancer education
coordinator at Memorial Medical Center, will lead the session, which
will explore the art of Zentangle, a type of “doodle” art using
repetitive patterns and textures. Art supplies will be provided.
Coloring books for adults have been a popular trend for the last
several years.
“Viewing, studying and creating art stimulates the brain in
substantial ways,” Wands said. “It can improve mood, reduce stress
and enhance happiness.”
