							 Anita Mae (Cole) Miller, 74, of 
							Lincoln, passed away July 8, 2019 at Memorial 
							Medical Center, Springfield.
 Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. 
							Saturday, July 13, 2019 at First Cumberland 
							Presbyterian Church.  Service to follow at 11 
							a.m. with Pastor Steve Blaum 
							officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. 
							Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home is assisting 
							the family.
 
 Anita was born May 14, 1945 in Lincoln, the daughter 
							of Aubrey Jacob "Slim" Cole and Zella Eva (Turner) 
							Cole. She married James Miller on April 7, 1968 in 
							Lincoln. She was a lifetime member of First 
							Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as a 
							Deacon for many years, taught Sunday School, and was 
							a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women.

She was employed as a secretary at Lehn and Fink for several 
years and then as a secretary at Lincoln First United Methodist Church for 
several years. She enjoyed being involved in the knitting group at the First 
United Methodist Church and kept busy exercising with friends several days a 
week. 
 Surviving are her husband Jim Miller, sister Linda (James Robert Sr.) Stone, and 
several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and 
nephews.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Matthew James Miller, and 
infant daughter Sara J. Miller, and brother Haldol T. Cole.
 
 Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the First 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
