offers second Teen Fitness Court Ambassador Training

The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Community Health Collaborative is
again offering a free Teen Fitness Court Ambassador Training for 14-19
year olds on Tuesday, July 16 at 6pm.
This thirty minute training is for teens interested in having fun while
working out. There will be a demonstration of the seven stations at the
Fitness Court.

An easy, medium & hard variation will be explained. Free ambassador
shirts will be given after the completion of the session. A light
snack & water will be provided. At the completion of the training,
participants will have the confidence and knowledge to be able to
help others use the court.
Interested teens should meet at Illinois’ 1st Fitness Court located
at the former site of Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, 235 Eighth
Street at 6pm. Rain location will be at the ALMH Steinfort Room at

Lincoln, the Fitness Court ® is an outdoor bodyweight circuit
training facility designed to transform public spaces into community
fitness hubs. We are making fitness free – for everyone!

And how fun to join workouts led by the youth in the community. This system also
includes a free Fitness Court App that residents can use to track their training
progress, learn new routines, or compete in fitness challenges.
ALMH and the City of Lincoln will continue to partner with local trainers and
fitness court ambassadors to connect the local community with free activities
and experiences that encourage a healthy lifestyle.
