"Cruisin' for a Cause" for Special
Olympics to be held this Saturday at the Oasis

LINCOLN
- A fun community event for the whole family. Saturday, July 13th
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oasis Senior Center, 2810 Woodlawn
Road Lincoln, Special Olympics Lincoln Park District Team with be
partnering with the United Riders of Central Illinois, the Lincoln
Jeep Club, Walmart and Oasis Senior Center for the "Cruisin' For a
Cause" event.

There will be a grand display of antique, sport
and tricked out models of cars, jeeps, 4X4 vehicles and
motorcycles!! There will also be a display of the D.A.R.E Humvee,
Wreckers and other high-profile vehicles.
A pulled pork lunch provide by Paulus Farms and Sugar Creek Bar-B-Que
will be available for purchase. Disc Jockey DJ Dinger will be on
hand, there will be great raffle items and for the kids -
inflatables, dunk tank and face painting all for donations to
Special Olympics Lincoln Park District Team.
All makes and models of vehicles, Jeeps 4 X 4's and Motorcycles are
welcome for display! All vehicles and Motorcycles for display are
required to pay to enter the lot and set up between 10 a.m. and 1
p.m.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds raised from this event will
benefit the Lincoln Park District Special Olympic Team. More specifically, the
money will be used for the necessary sports equipment, uniforms, travel to
competitions and meals for the athletes. This event will provide the induviduals
of the Lincoln Park District Team the opportunity to gain self—respect,
friendships and courage through training and participation in quality sports
training and competitions.

attend the event and make a donation!
So… Cruise on into The Oasis, Saturday, July 13th for a fun family event to
benefit the athletes of the Special Olympics Lincoln Park District Team!
