							Obituary 
							Andrew B. Johnson, 55, of Armington, 
							passed away at 7:42 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 
							OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
 Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 
							the Minier Christian Church from 4:00 p.m. until 
							7:00 p.m.
 
 Funeral services for Andy will be held on Saturday, 
							May 25, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Minier Christian 
							Church. Mr. Tyler Escoubas and Mr. Rusty Richards 
							will officiate. Burial will follow at Mountjoy 
							Cemetery in rural Atlanta.
 
 Andrew Brock Johnson was born May 25, 1963, in 
							Bloomington, the son of James L. and Barbara Brandt 
							Johnson.
 
 He is survived by his parents; one sister, Pamela 
							(Gregory) Lee of Heyworth; one niece, Kristen (Luke) 
							Arnold; one nephew, Ryan (Tori) Lee; and two 
							great-nieces, Lorelei and Anabelle Arnold.
 
 Andy was a 1981 graduate of Olympia High School. He 
							then graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 
							1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education.

							He completed a Bachelor of Arts in 
							Education at Illinois State University in 1988. In 
							2015, he completed a Masters of Christian Education 
							from the Seminary at Lincoln Christian University. 
            Most recently, Andy was serving as Minister for the 
			Armington Christian Church and a coach at Christian Life Academy in 
			Hopedale. Through the years Andy had served as a minister in 
			Atlanta, Normal, Minier, and Arkansas. He had served as a Missionary 
			and Teacher in Puerto Rico. He was also a member of the Minier 
			Historical Society.
 Andy was known to be an avid Cardinals fan. He also greatly enjoyed 
			the outdoors, especially fishing, biking, and kayaking.
 
 Memorials may be made to Little Galilee Christian Camp or Lincoln 
			Christian University.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of 
			Atlanta.
