Obituary
Fernola Seefeldt Gamble, 103, of
Lincoln, passed away January 1, 2019 at St. Clara's
Manor.
Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded
by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. A memorial
service will be held at 3PM Saturday, June 8, 2019
at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lincoln.
Fernola was born November 13, 1915, in New Holland,
the daughter of Herman and Mary (Knollenberg)
Seefeldt. She married Laurin E. Gamble on June 11,
1960, in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death
on March 9, 1979.
Surviving are her nieces, nephews, great and great
great nieces and nephews, step grand sons, and step
great grandchildren. |
Fernola worked as a secretary at Hanna Clinic in Peoria and later
at Lincoln Savings and Loan and Lincoln College.
She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lincoln, Illinois.
Memorial donations may be made to the church flower fund at Immanuel Lutheran
Church.
