THIS WEEK: The series takes a week off for Father's Day on the heels of Joey Logano winning a rain-delayed race at Michigan on Monday. ... Logano's win was the fifth this season for a Ford Fusion, with a Toyota Camry taking nine of the other 10. That leaves the Chevrolet Camaro with one win by Chase Elliott at Talladega. ... Chevy's struggles are a little surprising given this is the second season with the new car body and the quality of drivers competing for the Bowtie Brigade. ... Monday's win was the second this season for defending series champion Logano. ... Next up for the series, the road course at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, Calif. ... *Logano leads the Cup standings with 614 points, followed by *Kyle Busch (605), *Brad Keselowski (541), Kevin Harvick (539), *Elliott (531), *Martin Truex Jr. (499), *Denny Hamlin (491), Kurt Busch (485), Ryan Blaney (436) and Alex Bowman (433) rounding out the top 10.

The series has raced there twice a year since 2011 and this will be the 19th series race at the track. ... Justin Allgaier won this race last year, with Christopher Bell winning the summer race. ... This is the 10th of 23 races on the season and will be the 13th series race at Iowa. ... Brett Moffitt won this race last year. ... Semi-retired Cup star Greg Biffle won last week at Texas. ... THIS WEEK: The series takes a break before the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., next week. ... Josef Newgarden won the race in Texas on Saturday, with Alexander Rossi second and Graham Rahal rounding out the podium. ... American Newgarden leads the standings (367 points), followed by American Rossi (342), France's Simon Pagenaud (319), New Zealand's Scott Dixon (278) and Japan's Takuma Sato (272) rounding out the top five.

THIS WEEK: After some controversy in the Canadian Grand Prix, the series regroups before heading to the French Grand Prix next week. ... Lewis Hamilton won the race in Canada, but only after Sebastian Vettel -- who had crossed the finish line first -- was penalized five seconds for an on-track incident between he and Hamilton on Lap 48 of 70. ... It was Hamilton's fifth win of the season and his third straight. ... Great Britain's Hamilton (Mercedes) leads the standings with 162 points, with Finland's Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) second (133), followed by Germany's Vettel, Ferrari (100), Belgium's Max Verstappen, Red Bull (88), and Monaco's Charles Leclerc, Ferrari (72).
