Lincoln College graduate and Board of Trustees member
Jeffrey Swallow, Ph.D., has pledged up to $100,000 in matching funds
for contributions made by June 30 to the College’s annual LINCOLN
Fund drive. This is an unrestricted fund used by the College to meet
critical needs and provide for technology upgrades, classroom
equipment, new library resources, student life enhancements, campus
beautification and new program development.
“This is a chance to double your impact as we enter the final weeks
of the annual campaign,” said Debbie Ackerman, Vice President for
Institutional Advancement at Lincoln College. “We are closing in on
this year’s target and working to successfully raise another
$100,000 for the LINCOLN Fund before the end of June. Jeff’s
generous matching grant challenge will help supporters push us over
the finish line.”
Swallow, president and CEO of Magnetrol International, Inc., in
Aurora, is a 1982 graduate of Lincoln College. In 2009, he became a
member of the Lincoln College Board of Trustees. Previously,
Magnetrol International contributed $2 million to the school’s “If
It Hadn’t Been for Lincoln College” Campaign for the Lincoln Center.
In 2017, he pledged a matching grant challenge of $100,000 at the
close of the year to help jump start the “Campaign for Lincoln
College,” which is also wrapping up this summer.
