Pink Shutters wins May Window Contest

The May winner of the downtown Lincoln Window Display contest is Pink Shutter. The Pink Shutter windows decorated by store manager Jennifer Heidbreder and her staff received a total of 65 votes for the month. The Pink Shutter will have its name added to the traveling plaque and keep the plaque in the store throughout the month.

In addition, a $10 gift card was given to Shaniqua Long of Lincoln, who placed a vote for that specific store.

On Monday, June 10th, contest sponsor Michelle Bauer of Country Financial in Lincoln was on hand to present the plaque to Heidbreder. Bauer is sponsoring the plaque and also provides the $10 gift cards for each month. Long was unable to attend the presentation.

There are currently ten stores participating in the monthly contest. Any downtown store interested in joining in can contact Kathie Williams at Small Town Creations.
