This week the Humane
Society of Logan County received a very generous gift from Mike and
Lynette Maske of Mount Pulaski. The Maske's donated a new parking
lot and driveway to the HSLC shelter. Gravel was delivered and
spread generously in the existing parking lot. In addition, a
driveway to the storage building on the southeast end of the shelter
was cut and graveled.
The HSLC wishes to thank the Maske's for their generous support of
the work done by the society to improve the lives of animals in this
area through adoption. The HSLC relies on the generosity of the
community to cover overhead and maintenance costs for the shelter,
and the parking lot and driveway will be a great improvement at the
