Country Financial® supports Lincoln Rural Fire Protection District
with equipment funding through Operation Helping Heroes Donation

Country Financial Representative Michelle Bauer is pleased to announce the Lincoln Rural Fire Protection District as a 2019 recipient of a $750 Country Financial Operation Helping Heroes Donation. Bauer presented the donation to Captain Trevor Matheny on June 19, 2019 to renovate the department’s Stay Alive trailer.

“The Stay Alive trailer is an educational tool used to teach citizens of Logan County about fire prevention,” said Firefighter Luke Hanger. “After renovations, the trailer will be used to teach fire safety to 3,500 K-12 students in our rural schools and we hope to offer a fire education program to Logan County’s elderly population.”

“I'm very excited to see Country Financial support such an important piece of education and prevention in Logan County,” said Bauer. “We will also provide Country Financial fire safety activity books for the trailer.”

Country Financial initiated Operation Helping Heroes in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active duty service members, veterans and their families.

More recently, Operation Helping Heroes expanded to provide support for emergency first responders.

In 2019, Country Financial and its representatives have already provided more than $600,000 in donations to first responders and service members.
