Road closure near Chestnut starting Wednesday

LINCOLN 

The Logan County Highway Department will be re-constructing a portion of 2200th Avenue between 600th and 700th Streets. The road is also known as County Highway 6, or the Atlanta-Beason-Chestnut Road. The road will be closed from Wednesday, June 26th through Wednesday, July 3rd.

This section of road is in poor condition. The road surface will be pulverized and re-graded. Additional rock will be added.

The closure is located about 3 miles south of Chestnut. The project is weather dependent, which may affect the dates of the road closure.
