Community Action Partnership of Central
Illinois (CAPCIL) has Hand Up Project scholarships available for all
six of the Counties served: Logan, Mason, Fulton, Menard, DeWitt,
and Piatt.
|
CAPCIL provides scholarships to individuals over
the age of 18 to their Hand Up Project and Strengthening Working
Families Initiative (SWFI) programs. Scholarships can be used
towards two-year, four-year, G.E.D., and trade educational
institutions in the State of Illinois. Individuals must meet certain
eligibility criteria in order to qualify to apply for the
scholarship. Scholarships are funded through the Community Services
Block Grant administered through the Illinois Department of Commerce
and Economic Opportunity and SWFI funding provided by local County
Boards.
If you or someone you know is interested in a scholarship, please
have them contact their local CAPCIL office and ask to speak to a Personal
Development Coach.
