Criminal Justice class tours Lincoln Police Department

[February 28, 2019]  LINCOLN - On February 6th, Lincolnland Technical Education Center’s Criminal Justice Class toured the new Lincoln Police Department. Police Chief Paul Adams conducted the tour that showed the students the training room and work areas.

Chief Adams went over several subjects including the hiring process for officers, training requirements, and expectations. Students got to see how evidence handled and how suspects are processed and temporarily detained. Lincolnland Technical Education Center is a Career and Technical Education School housed at Lincoln Community High School that services Logan, Mason, and Menard Counties.
