To be eligible, the candidate should be accepted into
an engineering college or a junior college with an equivalent
engineering academic schedule and are encouraged to have a minimum
ACT score of 28 or SAT equivalent.
The candidate must reside within the Counties of
Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby, and the southern parts of DeWitt and
Logan.
The southern parts of DeWitt and Logan Counties are
defined as including the cities of Clinton and Lincoln and those
parts south of Route 10 east of I-55 and south of 1550th Street west
of I-55.
There is no formal application form. Interested high
school seniors should submit a brief resume including: interests,
organized activities, officer positions, and awards; their school
transcript with national testing results; college acceptance
notification; a one-page composition describing their interest in
engineering; and telephone and email contact information.

The Scholarship Committee will determine which applicants will be
selected to be interviewed for the scholarship. Arrangements will be made for a
personal interview with each qualified applicant during the early part of April.
