Sheriff Landers and Undersheriff Sean Kindred were
quite open about the local challenges the Sheriff’s Department faces
and the plan for future improvements. Capt. Mike Block gave students
a tour of the jail with insight into how inmates are processed and
detained.
Students then visited the Logan County 911 and were given an
in-depth tour of the dispatch facilities and the daily challenges by
Dep. Director Cheryl Hedricks and Supervisor Rebecca Langley.
Lincolnland Technical Education Center (LTEC) would like to thank
the Sheriff’s Department and Logan County 911 for accommodating our
students into gaining valuable insight into first responders at the
county level.
