The
West Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines continue their
perfect season and move on to the semifinals of the
2019 Seventh Grade Class 1A State Tournament today. The Lady
Wolverines defeated Belleville St. Teresa on Friday in two
sets, 25-8 and 25-7.
WLB
(17-0) will meet Hartsburg-Emden (16-4) today, Saturday, at
11 a.m. This winner will play for a state championship at
3:15 p.m. The loser will play for 3rd place at 2:00 p.m.

"Strong serving by
Jenna Bowman gave the Lady Wolverines confidence to play
strong the entire match. Jenna led serving with 17 points
and 5 aces. Kloe Froebe had an excellent offensive match
leading kills with 23. The offense wasn't possible without
strong setting by Regan Goodey (25 assists). The Lady
Wolverines take on local rival Hartem at 11:00 a.m. at
Lexington High School!
