West Lincoln-Broadwell headed to State

[March 12, 2019]    The West Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines won the Class 8-1A Sectional 5 Monday night over A-C Central 25-17 and 25-9 to advance to the IESA Eighth Grade Class 1A State Tournament this weekend.

Kloe Froebe led the Lady Wolverines with 15 kills. Jenna Bowman added 9 kills. Regan Goodey contributed 24 assists and 4 aces. Becca Heitzig had 13 digs for WLB. Elly Martinez and Tori Geriets had 4 aces each in the win. 

West Lincoln-Broadwell (18-3) gets the marque matchup with Hartem (18-2) Friday night at 7 p.m. in the first round of the state tournament at Pana High School.
