Iowa beats Illinois

[March 15, 2019]  Iowa beat Illinois 83-62 Thursday night at the United Center in Chicago, IL. The Hawkeyes were led in scoring by Nicholas Baer who finished with 17 points.

Illinois’ top scorer was Giorgi Bezhanishvili with 12 points while Trent Frazier and Tevian Jones each tallied 11.

Illinois’ record is now 12-21 after facing the toughest schedule in the Big Ten and the 8th toughest schedule in the country.

Iowa will play Michigan Friday in the Big Ten Tourney quarterfinals.
