Eureka won game one of the doubleheader 6-5 on a game-winning
single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Lincoln won game two
by a score of 6-3.
After Eureka scored twice in the
home half of the first inning, the Railsplitters got a

an RBI single by Brenden Eigenbrod. Lincoln added two runs in
the third inning to take a 3-2 lead. After two outs in the third
inning, consecutive singles by Drew Singleton, Nate Arnold and
Colton Holliday led to one run. Alex Bogdanic then reached on an
error, allowing Arnold to score the other run. In the top of the
fifth inning, Lincoln's Noah Funk scored on a bases loaded walk
to Bogdanic to give Lincoln a 4-3 lead. Eureka tied the game in
the bottom of the fifth inning and would take a 5-4 lead into
the Lincoln's half of the seventh inning. The Railsplitters tied
the game 5-5 in the top of the seventh inning on a sacrifice fly
by Eigenbrod. Eureka's Austin Davis had the game-winning RBI
