[May 02, 2019]  MONSTER ENERGY NASCAR CUP SERIES: GANDER RV 400 (400 laps, 400 miles around a 1-mile D-shaped oval), Dover International Speedway; Dover, Del.

THIS WEEK: In the 11th of 36 races on the season, the Cup series makes the turn at Dover toward Kansas and then All-Star week and the Memorial Day weekend 600-miler at Charlotte. ... This will be the 99th series race at Dover, opened in 1969. ... Kevin Harvick won this race last year, with Chase Elliott winning in the fall. Elliott also won last week at Talladega and with the win, Chevrolet finally won a race this season with the Camaro SS. ... Toyota has six wins and Ford has three. ... *Kyle Busch leads the Cup standings with 430 points, followed by *Joey Logano (415), *Denny Hamlin (367), Harvick (350), *Brad Keselowski (337), *Martin Truex Jr. (328), Elliott (324), Kurt Busch (323), Ryan Blaney (306) and Clint Bowyer (288) rounding out the top 10.

BEST BETS: You can get Talladega winner Chase Elliott at 12/1, but Kyle Busch is the favorite - again - at 3/1 and Kevin Harvick is second at 4/1. Jimmie Johnson is going to win one of these weeks, and 20/1 is a good price point for a guy who has won 11 times at Dover. There's plenty of good long shots to be had, with Austin Dillon leading the way at 80/1. Ryan Newman and Alex Bowman at 100/1 are good values, as well.

*Denotes race winner and playoff berth. Standings per NASCAR.com.
