Woods & Bates P.C. to acquire Culbertson & Allen, LLC
Established Lincoln law firm will continue Delavan legal practice

Woods & Bates P.C. of Lincoln, Illinois, has entered into an agreement to acquire Culbertson & Allen, LLC, located in Delavan, Illinois.

After decades of practicing law in Delavan with the firm of Culbertson & Allen, LLC, attorney Mark Allen has decided to transition to retirement. Allen joined the firm in 1977 and has practiced exclusively in the Delavan office since that time.

William "Blinn" Bates, Jr. and Michael T. Fleshman of Woods & Bates P.C. in Lincoln, Illinois, have reached an agreement with Allen, the sole owner of Culbertson & Allen, LLC, to acquire the Delavan firm.

Woods & Bates will continue to provide the same high-quality legal services that businesses and individuals have come to expect from Culbertson & Allen and will continue to operate at the same Delavan office location where John T. Culbertson, Jr., began practicing law in his hometown in 1916.

Blinn and Michael extend their sincere congratulations to Mark on his distinguished career and his transition to retirement.
