Congratulations to the Lincoln Junior High School Trojans participating in IESA State Track and Field

[May 17, 2019]    Lincoln Junior High School is sending six athletes to the IESA State Track and Field Meet this weekend in East Peoria.

Pictured are Kion Carson, Kani Carson, Dylan Gowin, Aidan Gowin and Carson Franz. Not pictured is Wyatt Mammen.

The relay teams feature two sets of brothers, which is pretty unique. Kion and Kani Carson are twins going to state, while Dylan Gowin and Aidan Gowin are brothers also running at state, just not twins. All the boys are in seventh grade.

Wyatt Mammen - discus

Aidan Gowin - long jump and 400

Relay teams:

4x200 and 4x400 - Kion Carson, Kani Carson, Aidan Gowin and Dylan Gowin
