Wilham named Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School

Lorenne Wilham, daughter of Sarah and Josh Wilham of
Mount Pulaski, has been named May Senior of the month at Mount
Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Lorenne has been actively involved in many activities
during her time at MPHS.

She has been a member of the Art Club and band for
four years, Scholastic Bowl and Choir Club for three years, Drama
Club, NHS, WYSE, Science Olympiad, and Spanish Club for two years.
She served as an officer for Spanish Club for one year. She has also
worked at the Elkhart Public Library since 2017 as a Circulation
Clerk. She has been an active member of the Mount Pulaski Christian
Church, being a part of their youth group and volunteering in the
Nursery.
Lorenne got second place in the “Write it, Do it” Science Olympiad
competition. She was a member of the Homecoming Court her sophomore
year and Art II student of the year her junior year.
Lorenne plans to attend Olivet Nazarene University. She is majoring
in Interior Design with a minor in Art.

The Senior of the Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman
Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by
Illinois National Bank.
