He is a WWII veteran who participated in the Battle
of Normandy.
He has been a lifelong farmer, mechanic, electronics repairman,
electrical contractor, and many other titles too numerous to
mention.

He married the love of his life, Viola Haseley, in
1948. They enjoyed 55 wonderful years together and had two sons, Les
Richert (Theresa) of Lincoln and Ken Richert (Karen) of Beason.
An open house will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church Education
Building at 205 Pulaski Street in Lincoln, on May 18th from 2 p.m.
to 4 p.m.
